Antas Weekly Market is held every Monday morning in the centre of this charming inland town in the Almanzora region of Almería province.
From around 9:00 AM until early afternoon, stalls are set up near the town centre offering fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, household goods, plants and seasonal produce. The market has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is popular with both residents and visitors from nearby villages.
Antas is known for its agricultural heritage and its connection to the El Argar archaeological site, one of the most important Bronze Age settlements in Spain. The town itself has a traditional Andalusian feel, with whitewashed buildings, small cafés and local shops.
Monday market day is a great opportunity to explore the town, enjoy a coffee in the plaza and experience authentic local life in inland Almería.
