Berja Weekly Market is held every Monday morning in the centre of this historic town located on the edge of the Alpujarra Almeriense.
From around 9:00 AM until early afternoon, the streets near the town centre fill with stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, footwear, household goods and local produce. The market attracts residents from surrounding villages as well as visitors exploring the inland mountain region.
Berja is known for its Roman heritage, traditional architecture and impressive views towards the Sierra de Gádor mountains. The town’s palm-lined avenues and historic buildings provide a pleasant setting for a relaxed Monday market visit.
After browsing the stalls, visitors can enjoy coffee or tapas in one of the cafés around the main square, making this a sociable and authentic Andalusian market experience.
