Sorbas Weekly Market is held every Thursday morning in this historic hilltop town located between the Tabernas Desert and the coast of Almería.
From around 9:00 AM until early afternoon, stalls are set up near the town centre offering fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, household goods, plants and local produce. The market serves residents from surrounding villages and visitors exploring the inland region.
Sorbas is famous for the nearby Karst en Yesos de Sorbas Natural Area, a unique landscape of caves and gypsum formations. The town itself sits dramatically on the edge of a ravine, with traditional whitewashed buildings and scenic views across the surrounding countryside.
On market day, the streets come alive with a friendly village atmosphere as locals gather to shop, chat and enjoy coffee in the nearby cafés.
